Here at Accord, we continue to challenge ourselves and our suppliers to help drive improvements in delivery performance, quality, sustainably, innovation and optimisation. We thought it was time to recognise the teams and individuals that help drive collaboration towards our common goal, to make it better for the patients that depend on us.

As part of driving this behaviour, our procurement team have developed the Accord Supplier awards this year which aims to highlight shared business goals and recognise the behaviour of collaboration. The awards are held monthly and for July we are delighted to recognise Colorcon® with the awards of Excipient Supplier of the year 2020 and the coveted Supplier of the year 2020.

We are pleased to recognise Colorcon with this double award. Colorcon won these awards because they consistently delivered over and above our expectations in the past 12 months – their supply maintained an OTIF (On Time in Full) delivery performance over 98% with less than 0.5% quality issues, their commitment to worker safety was stand out and their commitment to delivering innovation to process improvement made for a unanimous decision. We congratulate them and look forward to this powerful relationship developing further in the years to come.
